YSTRADGYNLAIS Ystradgynlais is the main settlement within the Town Council area. The Ystradgynlais Ward comprises of much of the town centre itself, including Cwmgiedd and parts of Penrhos. Much of the town’s shopping centre is here, as well as the Welfare Hall, which has a cinema and holds regular musical and theatrical performances.
